I am a freelance, independent filmmaker who works with production companies large and small. I put the same passion for excellence in storytelling toward every job, whether it be a one day shoot for an NGO or a feature film for an Oscar-winning director.
Versed in all aspects of production, I am currently concentrated on work as a DP/cameraman, director, and editor. My creative visual style and the diversity of my work are showcased in my reel.
Raised in NJ, I studied film and television production at NYU (c/o 2007). My student thesis documentary New World Water has screened in and received special recognition at film festivals in Amsterdam and Bangalore. From 2008-09 I worked for Jigsaw Productions and contributed to several feature films in production at the time including Client 9, Casino Jack and the United States of Money, Freakonomics, and My Trip to Al-Qaeda.
Since then I have been freelancing on a variety of projects including narrative and documentary feature films, music videos, live events, educational videos, business promos, and web series.
Now that you’re here at my site, please take a look around and feel free to contact me about your upcoming production.
Currently, I shoot with Sony’s new NEX-FS100 camera. Unlike smaller, broadcast-style sensors or the larger “full-frame” sensors of some DSLRs, the NEX-FS100’s imaging area matches that of standard Hollywood film cameras. The sensor’s large size offers a variety of other advantages, including increased control over depth of field, higher sensitivity in low light, lower image noise, and an exceptional dynamic range. Additional cameras, lighting and audio equipment available upon request.
